Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is a crucial role that is committed
to achieving our ambitious customer satisfaction, retention,
acquisition, and revenue growth objectives. As an Inside Sales
Representative, you will be responsible for establishing customer
relationships and representing our company's brand in a way that is
positive, honest, and professional. This role primarily seeks out
new sales opportunities with existing and new customers and is
reliant upon our inbound marketing systems, and CRM to do so
accurately, timely and successfully. Nurturing each opportunity by
working cordially inside a customer's parameters, coordinating
their order delivery dates, providing them support, and processing
their purchase of a product solution is the daily priority of this
role. This is a remote position.
Essential Functions
Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership
in understanding our product lines and familiarizing yourself with
each product's function and purpose. You are required to
confidently consult our customers and upsell our customers to the
most compatible products. To have success in this role, it requires
an upfront studious commitment to watch, read and learn.
Demonstrate a continuously improving comprehension and
interpretation of technical requirements, and customer parameters,
and an ability to provide technical information that builds
customer trust with our company. Listen attentively to customer
questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful
to encourage product fit and sales.
Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders and developing
accounts. Close new accounts by answering telephone, live chat,
cold calls, CRM follow-ups, and e-mail inquiries. Accurately enter
customer information into databases as updates are received.
Meet or exceed Lead & Deal creation and conversion KPI's and
demonstrate a positive attitude to continuous performance and work
quality improvements.
Work with your team members to facilitate calls, manage workflows,
and minimize hold times throughout the sales process.
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate channels for
further development and closure.
Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents,
updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for
reference and to answer questions.
Maintain a special focus on managing company drop ship PO's by
ensuring lead times and information are regularly and accurately
updated in the CRM, Dashboard or other.
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying
potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport,
providing technical information, and explanations, and preparing
quotes. Utilize the system, data, and existing knowledge of our
customers.
Finalize orders to meet customer timelines by issuing them on time,
communicating expected delivery dates, and explaining stock-outs.
Manage customer expectations on long lead times.
Develop accounts by checking customer's buying history, suggesting
related and new items, and explaining technical features. Keep
large value accounts happy.
Ensure 24 hour response time from initial contact for all new leads
and aim to remarkably beat this goal daily.
Maintain and improve quality results by following company standards
and recommending improved policy and procedures to management.
Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and
participating in educational opportunities whenever necessary.
Work closely with customer service and related departments to
ensure customer issues are effectively and promptly resolved for
all customers who purchased from you, and who's accounts are
assigned to you.
Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks and personal
or team goals for the upcoming week. Report your performance
outlook honestly and demonstrate professional accountability.
