possible? Summary The Plant Clerk is responsible for providing
office support to the West GA CSC. Essential Position
Responsibilities
- Daily and effective management of email and phone communication
to ensure timely responses to internal and external customer needs
and proactive notification to management of potential issues.
- Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and
account information.
- Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and
sorting information.
- Establishes entry priorities.
- Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing
data for deficiencies.
- Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning
incomplete documents to a Southwire team member for
resolution.
- Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and
numeric information.
- Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing,
correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and
reporting needed changes.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by
keeping information confidential. Qualifications and Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates' degree
or higher is preferred.
- Must have 2+ years of experience in a customer
service/administrative role.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the
ability to adapt quickly and effectively to shifting
priorities.
- Work independently and be able to display good judgment and
problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer
service.
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency. (Successful candidate
will be required to learn Microsoft Publisher, Lawson, SAP, and
Datamatics.) Job DescriptionDescription of Duties and

system --- Organize and coordinate daily tasks --- Work directly
with managers, buyers, and other areas within the company ---
Monitors area Goods Issued Date and Delivery Date on customer order
shipping requirements to meet/exceed established company service
level objectives. --- Monitors area inventory needs as it relates
to restocking requirements for customer orders, identifying
obsolete inventory and seek outlets for reduction. --- Become
computer knowledgeable of SAP, Distribution System, etc. ---
Miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience
Requirements --- High school diploma, or equivalent, is required.
--- Previous related experience desired. --- SAP program and
shipment building experience preferred. --- Must possess a deep
understanding of warehouse operations. --- Must be familiar with
how to schedule cuts. --- Excellent P.C. skills including Outlook,
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. --- Prior customer service
work experience is a plus --- Must possess excellent verbal and
written communication skills, proven business acumen, exceptional
interpersonal capabilities and possess a strong attention to
detail. --- Ability to function and manage multiple tasks in a
fast-paced operating environment is critical --- Must be able to
interface and communicate effectively within the organization, with
business units throughout the company, and with partners across the
supply chain in a professional manner. --- Ability to learn quickly
and adapt to a changing business environment. --- Ability to
operate efficiently in a team environment. --- Must be able to
handle stress caused in meeting deadlines with tight scheduling
requirements --- Must have responsible work habits. --- Employee
