Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Access Insurance
Coordinator-Remote to manage insurance authorizations and patient
benefit verifications.
Key Responsibilities
Verify insurance benefits for new patients and inform them of
financial obligations
Obtain and document authorizations for diagnostic studies and
procedures
Communicate with patients, staff, and insurance representatives
regarding authorizations and benefits
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of three years of medical insurance
coordination/authorizations experience
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Aptitude to learn new software technologies for EMR and practice
management systems
