Backend Developer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Backend Developer to work remotely in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems
Serve as primary point of contact for service incidents and troubleshoot as necessary
Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve architecture and manage service capacity

Required Qualifications

Experience with modern programming languages, particularly Java
Experience in building large, reliable, scalable distributed systems
Experience with designing and building RESTful APIs
Hands-on experience with GraphQL and web sockets is a plus
Familiarity with modern DevOps principles and continuous delivery
