Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote HIMS Medical Coding Educator
professional to support their Physicians Practices and Coding
Teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and coordinates training materials and programs for Health
Information Management staff and other personnel
Conducts new hire skill assessments and provides ongoing education
and regulatory updates
Collaborates with regional teams to create standardized educational
materials and conducts clinical chart reviews
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Current certification as CPC, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CCS-P
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare
administration, or related field
Three or more years of work experience in healthcare information
management
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical record
documentation
Experience in training and educational program development
