seeking a strategically minded, analytically oriented finance
leader to provide front-end business decision support to the
revenue organization within Merchant Processing Services for US
Bank. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership,
responsible for providing insights, analysis, and strategic
guidance in pursuit of business optimization and impact. This role
will report to SVP of Pricing and Sales Finance and lead a team of
3-4 individuals. This role requires strong customer focus and
partnering abilities, attention to detail, problem solving,
strategic thinking, executive level communication, project
management, and influencing skills in order to be effective.Job
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and executing mechanisms and
routines to monitor health of the business, in particular top-line
performance, leveraging data and people resources, with a focus on
high impact, visible analyses.
- Manage strategic and operational initiatives as they arise,
pursuing business outcomes valued through increased revenue and/or
efficiency.
- Develop comprehensive business cases to support sales and
marketing investment decision support including gathering data from
multiple sources, synthesizing information, and conducting in-depth
cost benefit analysis and risk assessments.
- Operate as a liaison between the BI Finance and revenue
organization to understand business needs and develop fact-based
data driven analytic solutions. Communicate insights through clear,
high impact, "executive-ready" presentations.
- Maximize relationships and build trust while supporting efforts
aligned to LOB and company goals.Location ExpectationsThe role
offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office
expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work
outside the office location for the other days.Basic
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Eight or more years of related experience.Preferred
Skills/Experience
- Master's degree in quantitative field like Statistics,
Mathematics or Econometrics.
- Prior experience in payments or bank is a plus.
- Expertise in financial modeling and analytics to assess the
impact of various business initiatives on revenue and
profitability.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
including Excel, SQL and business intelligence platforms.
- Leadership qualities to inspire and mentor finance teams,
foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive innovation in
business decision support.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate
complex financial concepts into actionable insights for
