Position Title: Regional Manager
Job Description:
Our industry-leading client is seeking a dynamic Regional Manager, The RM is accountable for overseeing the sales, operations, and profitability of multiple Sales Centers within a defined region of the company. The primary objective of this role is to drive revenue and operating profit growth through strategic leadership, while positioning the organization as an industry leader to maximize sales. Each Sales Center operates as an established wholesale distributor of HVAC, refrigeration, and food service equipment, parts, and supplies, representing multiple brands. The Regional Manager holds full responsibility for HVAC residential and contractor sales, including related support products, and provides direct management and guidance to the Sales Center Managers.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop market strategies, secure new accounts, and expand dealer relationships.
  • Set clear targets for direct reports and guide the region's challenges and opportunities.
  • Lead and support multiple Sales Centers and their management teams, focusing on productivity, efficiency, and growth.
  • Oversee operations including warehouse, delivery, showroom, sales, and warranty services, providing training and guidance to personnel.
  • Manage regional P&L, inventory investments, pricing strategies, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers and Sales Center Managers to optimize processes and ensure business growth. Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience in a related field required; high school diploma or GED mandatory.
    • 5-10 years of operational experience in the HVAC industry, including managing wholesale HVAC supply houses.
    • Expertise in HVAC equipment and product lines at a wholesale distribution level.
    • 3-5 years of experience managing residential and commercial contractor relationships.
    • Demonstrated success in sales, marketing, operations, leadership, and business growth strategies.
    • Proven ability to mentor sales teams and set/achieve sales goals.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Skills:
      • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally.
      • Ability to read and interpret P&L statements and analyze sales and market data.
      • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, multitasking environment while meeting goals and deadlines.
      • Self-motivated with a desire to learn, teach, and lead.
      • Excellent customer service skills, focused on building long-term relationships.
      • Strong estimating, problem-solving, and creative thinking abilities.
      • Proactive in seeking process and service improvements.
