Job DescriptionRegional DirectorAt Catapult Learning, we provide

of student impact.The Regional Director serves as General Manager
for the programs and operations within a specific region of
Catapult Learning's business. This individual is responsible for
the overall profitability, service quality, client satisfaction,
and promotional activities of assigned programs. This individual
must become intimately familiar with key features of all programs,
important relationships, and relevant regulations within their
region.How you'll support the region:Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Manage and build a cohesive leadership team consisting of Area
Managers and Operations Managers.
- Oversee performance and effectiveness of a portfolio of
programs within five states: Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia,
Mississippi, and Tennessee.
- With support of the talent departments, oversee recruitment,
selection, evaluation, retention, and, if necessary, termination of
direct service staff.
- Assure staff have the training, knowledge, skills, and
materials to meet the demands of contracted programs.
- Act as a role model for establishing appropriate positive
morale and attitude toward work and organization.
- Ensure cross-functional and intra-departmental
communication.
- Drive Results:
- Build a results-driven culture for Area Managers and Operations
Managers by establishing a clear vision for success; demonstrating
clear, concise direction; holding team accountable for meeting
revenue and other targets and adjusting course as necessary in
pursuit of goals.
- Manage a large budget, including P&L management, expense
analysis, and forecasting.
- Drive growth of the business through expansion, extension, and
- in partnership with our sales team - new opportunities.
- Leverage data, tools, and systems to drive business
outcomes.
- Assure that instructional staff, physical facilities,
instructional materials, and equipment are of high quality.
- Client Services:
- Client Account Management.
- Ensure customers are informed and satisfied with our services
and eager to renew.
- Provide high-touch customer service.
- Manage current contracts to ensure profitability and student
learning.
- Intimately understand and implement the terms and conditions of
all contracts and proposals for the programs the director
oversees.
- Keep appropriate corporate support staff informed of contract
activities. Communicate regularly with, and provide needed
information to, Vice President of Programs.
- Build Partnerships:
- Maintain and strengthen key relationships needed for the
management and delivery of programs.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with representatives of
the schools and the districts we serve.
- Alert Vice President of Programs to potential problems and
offer viable solutions pro-actively.
- Develop with Vice President of Programs a strategic plan for
optimal renewal and expansion of contracts for the region each
year. Carry out appropriate renewal activity throughout the
year.
- Ability to manage internal stakeholder relationships; motivate
and influence others to achieve common goals.What we'll need from
you:Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least ten years of related experience in the areas of
education or business.
- Prior management and budget experience.
- Experience working with school districts,
preferred.Skills:
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
skills.
- Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of
management, as well as outside partners and other
stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage
complex, high-demand environments.
- Proficiency in prioritization and the ability to balance
competing tasks effectively.
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving:
- Expertise in managing complexity, particularly in guiding teams
through periods of change and transition.
- A system-oriented mindset with the ability to understand and
navigate various tools and processes to ensure operational
efficiency.
- Other:
- Candidate must possess a sense of urgency, understanding of the
education environment, ability to work in cross-functional teams,
flexibility, and team orientation.
- Travel: candidates should expect travel commitments of up to
