Location Address:2500 Windy Ridge Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia 30339Work Shift:Salary Exempt (United States of America)Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Director, the Manager will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing balance sheets, P&L statements and other financial reports. The Manager will assist the Director to enhance policies and procedures, prepare thoughtful analyses and reporting, and participate in the month-end closing of the corporate ledgers. The ideal candidate is motivated, a life-long learner, and values process improvement. This is a high-visibility role that provides robust experience in different areas of the Company. You will have the opportunity to partner across the organization and prepare reporting for senior leadership.Key Responsibilities - Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. - Ability to research, understand, and develop thoughtful points of view as it relates to accounting standards and updates. - Help manage the relationship with internal and external audit. - Assist in preparing internal and external financial reporting. - Assist with the annual plan process. - Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts.Critical Capabilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can communicate with all levels of the organization, from entry-level to executive employees. - Demonstrated experience in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and process improvement. - Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude. - Ability and desire to take on a variety of projects and prioritize competing priorities.Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting, - 4+ years' experience in industry and/or public accounting firm - Excellent understanding of and ability to research US GAAP. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet challenging deadlines. - Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.Preferred Qualifications (what will put you ahead) - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in good standing. - Experience in manufacturing or related industry. - Experience with data visualization and consolidation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, OneStream, Hyperion / HFM).Altium Packaging, Our Culture Differentiates Us!
