DescriptionJob Summary/Objective: Southwire's Finance Development
Program recognizes early emergent talent from recent college
graduates. It serves as a pipeline for talented college graduates
to enter Southwire full-time after graduation. This program is
designed to successfully develop future business leaders through a
combination of diverse rotational assignments, targeted training,
continuous coaching, and development. As a participant in this
three-year program, you will have exposure to many accounting and
finance operations and business leaders for one of North America's
leading manufacturers in the wire and cable industry. You will gain
on-the-job and project work experience along with leadership skills
by completing four financial rotations: operational (plant)
accounting, financial planning and analysis, and commercial finance
in two divisions. Key Responsibilities After completing the
program, participants will be equipped with a broader knowledge
base, and a better understanding of Southwire's business, and will
have created new and meaningful relationships within Southwire.
Upon successful completion, Finance Rotational Team Members have an
opportunity to continue working for us in roles within Finance with
increased responsibility. Rotational Assignments Financial Planning
and Analysis Commercial Operational (plant) Accounting
Qualifications and Experience Requirements Pursuing a bachelor's
degree in business, finance, or accounting with an expected
graduation in Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025 A well-rounded
academic background with a preferred minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates should be
an enthusiastic individual who is willing to take on new challenges
and thrives on continuous improvement. Proactive and results-driven
individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic
environment. Relevant internship experience and/or leadership in
school or community organizations. Familiarity with Microsoft
Office with an emphasis on Excel. Familiarity with SAP and other
